Maison de la Dessinatrice

There is not much information to be found on this very small cottage in the Belgian Ardennes, but one of its names, Maison de la Dessinatrice, suggests that it belonged to a designer. It is also called Maison de la Castafiore, which could refer to a fictional character from The Adventures of TinTin, but I did not find clues for that to make any sense.

Like many residential urban exploration locations I visited before, this one was very intimate. Many of the owner’s personal belongings were still in place; the dishes were in the closet and the toothbrush in the cup by the sink. Nature is clearly taking over here, which made this tiny place still interesting to capture…
