Night photography in The Hague

As I live in The Hague already for about one year and I only took photos of the city at night once, I thought it would be a good idea to organize a photo walk for night photography. Last week, we met at the central station with about 12 people from the Dutch Nikon club to take a walk though the city.

Unfortunately it was raining, so after most of the participants and their gear (thumbs up for weather sealing!) got soaked, we went into a bar to have drinks and dry ourselves and our gear up a bit. After we left the bar again, and the majority of the group went home, it was dry again, so we decided to continue the walk with a smaller group. Because of the fog I was able to take some nice photos of the Binnenhof square, fortunately on time before the building gets renovated (and will probably packed with scaffolding) in the summer of 2016.

The best photo I took during the photo walk has a bit of a mystic atmosphere (shot at ISO100, 2.0s, f/5.0):

Some of the other photos can be seen in my black & night series.
